NBC Sports and F+W Publications are proud to announce a $1 million bonus for this year's National Fantasy Football Championship participants. Any owner who can win the NBC Sports NFFC Classic main event overall title and the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime main event overall title will win $200,000 in prizes and our $1 million bonus.

The 14-team NBC Sports NFFC Classic format is in its fifth season of competition and 392 teams are expected to participate in live drafts on Saturday, Aug. 30th in Las Vegas, New York, Chicago and Orlando. The 12-team NBC Sports NFFC Primetime event is in its first season and will also hold live drafts on Saturday evening, Aug. 30th in the same four cities and feature 396 teams. If anyone can outsmart those competitors in both events, they will become the industry's first millionaire playing fantasy football.

Insurance has been secured to pay out the $1 million bonus, which will be paid through a 40-year annuity.

Larry Foote, LB (Det) -- 3/11 5:53PM CT - The Arizona Cardinals have welcomed free agent linebacker Foote for a visit.
Joey Porter, LB (Mia) -- 3/11 5:53PM CT - The Arizona Cardinals have welcomed free agent linebacker Joey Porter for a visit.
Derek Anderson, QB (Cle) -- 3/11 5:51PM CT - Anderson is scheduled to be in Tempe to meet with the Cardinals on Friday.
Jeremy Bridges, OG (Ari) -- 3/11 5:49PM CT - The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed offensive tackle Jeremy Bridges to a three-year contract.
Chad Ochocinco, WR (Cin) -- 3/11 5:36PM CT - Ochocinco, already involved in ABC show Dancing with the Stars, will star on a VH1 reality dating show.
Joe Klopfenstein, TE (Buf) -- 3/11 4:54PM CT - The Buffalo Bills have re-signed Klopfenstein a week after allowing him to become a free agent. Klopfenstein, who was re-signed on Thursday, was active for four games with Buffalo last season and had one catch for 11 yards. He's a four-year NFL veteran who initially signed with the Bills in November after Derek Fine sustained a season-ending knee injury.
Kevin Faulk, RB (NE) -- 3/11 4:52PM CT - Faulk didn't want to go out like Nomar Garciaparra. Watching the former All-Star Boston Red Sox shortstop retire on Wednesday helped convince Faulk that he wanted to spend his entire career with the Patriots. Faulk re-signed with the team that made him a second-round draft choice in 1999.
Andy Alleman, OG (Ind) -- 3/11 3:41PM CT - The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent guard Alleman. The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder was New Orleans' third-round draft choice in 2007. He started four games in Miami in 2008, and started three games for Kansas City last season.
Matt Moore, QB (Car) -- 3/11 2:29PM CT - Moore has signed his one-year, $3.043 million tender with the Carolina Panthers, who have declared him the starting quarterback going into training camp. Moore's agent, Lynn Lashbrook, says Moore preferred to sign the tender than test the free agency market. Thursday's move comes a week after the Panthers released longtime starter Jake Delhomme.
Jerheme Urban, WR (KC) -- 3/11 12:24PM CT - The Kansas City Chiefs have acquired free agent wide receiver Urban, who spent the last three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. Kansas City announced the signing on Thursday. Terms were not disclosed.
Vinny Ciurciu, LB (Det) -- 3/11 11:30AM CT - Detroit re-signed linebacker Vinny Ciurciu to a one-year contract Thursday.
Jon Jansen, OT (Det) -- 3/11 11:30AM CT - Detroit re-signed offensive tackle Jon Jansen to a one-year contract Thursday.
LaDainian Tomlinson, RB (SD) -- 3/11 11:30AM CT - Tomlinson has left the Minnesota Vikings facility without a deal in place and is on his way to New York to visit the Jets. A person with knowledge of the negotiations tells The Associated Press that the star running back spent several hours at Vikings headquarters Thursday, but did not reach agreement on a contract. The person requested anonymity because negotiations were ongoing.
Tank Johnson, DT (Cin) -- 3/11 11:28AM CT - Johnson has signed a four-year deal to stay with the Cincinnati Bengals. Johnson started 13 games last season despite a case of plantar faciitis in his right foot that limited his mobility and caused a lot of pain. He felt better as the season went along, and tied for the team lead with 10 tackles in a playoff loss to the Jets.
Daniel Fells, TE (StL) -- 3/11 10:52AM CT - The St. Louis Rams have re-signed Fells, who caught three touchdown passes in 2009. Terms of this week's deal were not disclosed.
